Mother’s Day ART-NIGHT* at Clippers Long Hill

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Clippers Long Hill presents ART-NIGHT* on Thursday, April 30 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. This creative event will feature artists Karen Green Recor and Rod Recor, textile artist Owen Sea Luckey, and ayurvedic skincare specialist Carollanne Crichton. Free and open to the public, the evening also includes handmade skincare products from Solavedi Organics, makeup by Youngblood Mineral Makeup, and a trunk show by Luckey Redo. Guests can look forward to refreshments, great gift ideas, and some fun give-aways.

Clippers Long Hill is a boutique hair salon located in Guilford’s Long Hill Village. Owned by Beth Records, the popular salon relocated in November after a successful 24 years in Branford, and offers state-of-the-art hair care services for men and women, as well as an exclusive line of Youngblood Mineral Makeup. 

The April ART-NIGHT* is one in a series of art-inspired events that will feature local artists, craftspeople, and businesses—highlighting the many creative talents of the Connecticut shoreline. 

Clippers Long Hill is located at 40 Long Hill Road, Guilford. Salon hours are: Monday 9-5, Wednesday through Friday 9-5, Saturdays 9-2, Closed Tuesday.
